Wow!! Past weeks had really been very hectic for me. Was so busy at work. Man..I dunno how to describe how tiring and exhausting it was. But one thing for sure is I was so darn exhausted. Cia lat man! No time to sit but rushing in and out the clinic as doctors’ appointments was filled. My feet hurts like crazy and i can barely walked when i finished work. I was practically dragging my feet home!

Last Friday was really such a busy and frustrating day. I stayed back in office till 9:30pm. All because of some inconsiderate people who didn’t think about others when come to fixing appointments for doctor’s consultation. Knowing that the last surgery starts round 7:30pm coz patient arrival is at 7pm… some people actually asked the cataract patients who had done surgery the day before to come in at 7pm for 1 day check-up. What kind of stupidity is that? And my colleague and i gotta explain to every patients about the delay and we sent them out for dinner. But they were all very upset. But it didn’t end here after their dinner. They came back like around 8pm and the Dr. will not be out till 9pm. Which means they will have to wait for like 2hrs or more in order to see the Dr.

They got so frustrated and one by one started scolding my colleague and i. Actually the bombarding started when they arrive for appointment. It didn’t stop untill they see the Dr. All we could do was keep apologizing to them. What else can we do? Keep saying SORRY lor.. To be honest, i have never say so many time SORRY in a day u know? Some more our air-cond will be off automatically at 7pm. Our patients are already so mad at us coz gotta wait so long…and at that time there’s no air-condition. It was so freaking HOT! Their volcano was erupting. Almost hit the roof already!

We dunno where to hide our face. Coz we dunno how to explain to them already. Moreover, our managers are all not around. All having good dinner at some function. Sigh!! We on the other hand…had no dinner. Was starving like poor puppies!

Heard of the movie “The Hills have Eyes?” Well..yes true enough my company is an eye clinic…so that day our clinic had angry EYES too!! Everytime we walk in and out the eyes were all following us. Hoping to hear from us that “OK..the Dr. is ready to see you”! Unfortunately NO. It was “Sorry, the Dr is still in the OT and will be out soon.” Actually how soon we can’t tell.

Anyways, glad that exhausting and frustrating day is over! Sadly my Boss don’t understand what we went through and dunno how we felt after all the bombarding! In addition, he blame us for not being “PROACTIVE” and that we fail to handle the problem. Btw, Was informed that next Wednesday is gonna be another long day of surgery. What the heck!! I’m not gonna stay back and carry others careless mistakes already! Once i finish my job..home i’ll be. Need to start packing for my holiday to Hong Kong All about work?? Forget it!! hahaha…
